V1  ·  Plug-in display for VESC

See everything your VESC knows.

Your VESC tracks speed, power, battery and temps the entire ride — you just never get to see any of it. Tosh Dash puts it right in front of you on a crisp 2.2-inch color screen: speed you can read in a split second, watts in and out, and a battery gauge you can trust. Four wires, ten minutes, done.

On the screen

Three screens.
Zero buttons.
Zero guesswork.

Nothing to press, nothing to dig through while you ride. You choose the screen and the layout once, from your phone — then the display just shows you what you asked for. Keep scrolling: these are the real screens, straight from the firmware.

Ride screen

Speed you can read in a split second.

The number that matters gets half the screen. Below it: your top speed of the ride, live power and your battery — one glance, eyes back on the road. The digits never flicker, because only what changes is redrawn.

Ride screen — Power

See what you pull — and what you get back.

On the throttle, the bar runs amber to the right. Hit the brakes and it flips to cyan on the left: here, 640 watts flowing back into your pack. You finally see what regen is really worth.

Ride screen — Range

“Will I make it home?” Answered.

Put battery, range and consumption on your ride screen. Tosh Dash learns how much energy you really burn per kilometer or mile and turns the charge you have left into distance — for your pack, your riding, today.

Low battery

Running low? You can't miss it.

Bar and percentage go from green to amber to red as the pack drains, with volts per cell right underneath. You know it's time to turn around before your controller cuts the power.

Screen 2 — Records

Every ride keeps score.

Top speed, peak power, peak current, your best acceleration time and the distance — plus the hottest FET and motor temps and the lowest voltage your pack dropped to. Proof for your buddies, early warnings for you. Starts fresh every time you power up.

Screen 3 — System

A health check for your build.

FET and motor temperature — green, amber or red, so you see trouble coming — pack and cell voltage, current, duty cycle, energy used and an odometer that keeps counting across rides. The screen you open when something feels off.

Make it yours

Three slots.
Twenty values.
Your layout.

Every slot on the ride screen is yours to fill — speed, power, battery, range, temperatures, currents, acceleration time and more. Switch a slot off and the big number grows into the space. Pick a layout to see it.

These are real screens from the firmware, not mock-ups. You set the layout from your phone — no app, no account. See every setting →

Enclosure

Closed for good.
Nothing to rattle loose.

Tosh Dash arrives finished. The base plate is bonded in, so there are no screws to shake loose, no buttons to wear out and no reason to ever open it — updates and settings all happen over Wi-Fi.

Smaller than a credit card and 20 mm slim, 3D-printed in tough PETG. The white logo is printed right into the lid — not a sticker that peels off after the first summer.

Built-in recovery mode

Switch it off and on three times in a row and it starts in a safe mode with just Wi-Fi and the updater. A bad update can't brick your display.

Wireless updates

New firmware installs over Wi-Fi: open the settings page in your browser, pick the file, done. No cables, no tools — the case stays shut.

Your Wi-Fi stays private

No app, no account, no cloud. If you add your home network, its name and password are stored on the device only — they never leave it.

Hookup

Four wires to your VESC. That's it.

5V, ground, TX and RX to the UART port of your VESC. The controller powers the display, so there's no battery to charge and nothing to switch on — it wakes up with your ride.

Tosh Dash speaks the native VESC protocol and checks every packet, so you never see junk numbers. If your VESC stops talking, the dot in the corner turns red within two seconds — instead of freezing on old values. And your Bluetooth module on the NRF header keeps working alongside it.
